FIRST HAND BEER

OUR STORY

Two country boys from rural NSW had a vision—to create a beer that truly connects all Australians. From humble beginnings, founders and best mates Mark Lake-Kilpatrick, a proud Indigenous man from Warren in Central West NSW, and Mitch Mahon, hailing from Griffith in South West NSW, set out to produce a great-tasting Australian beer that brings people together to connect as one.
With an exclusive partnership with Dan Murphy's and BWS, their dream has become a reality. First Hand Beer is not just a drink; it's a celebration of connection, unity, and the Australian way of life.
When you crack open a can of Outback Lager or Sacred Lager from the First Hand Beer range, you are holding more than just a beer—you're holding a piece of original Indigenous artwork.
Hand-painted by co-founder Mark Lake-Kilpatrick, the artwork on each can represents the essence of connection. The dots in Mark's artwork symbolise people from all walks of life coming together, a value that is First Hand Beer and what will always be at the core the business.
In true Aussie tradition, a hand is more than a gesture—it is a sign of unity. Whether it's a handshake, a high five, or lending a helping hand, First Hand Beer embodies the spirit of togetherness that defines our country.
Crafted with pride on Wiradjuri Country in Griffith NSW, the home town of co-founder Mitch Mahon, First Hand Beer is a true representation of the Australian Spirit.
It honours our past while promoting a positive future, respecting the diverse culture and landscapes of this great land.
